Who is HMM?
​Shelley Steffey, Interfaith Miniter, is the owner & creator at
House of the Mystical Maven, LLC.
HMM is a practice in Integrative Healing Arts, holding space for spiritual seekers to find the healing potential within.
Education has been an important building block to pursuing the path in healing arts. Experience in education includes a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art, certifications in Early and School Age Education, near Masters in Art Education, certifications inYoga, the Science and Art of Herbalism, Reiki Master Teacher, and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, among many other trainings, workshops, and community engagements in many areas of study. The House currently lives in a tiny town on the outskirts of the Allegheny National Forest, there Shelley assumes her role as steward for tending the earth kinship. It is vital in her work to repair and reconnect others in their relationship with the land, her hope is to establish land lovership.
As a seer from a very young age, Shelley developed her visionary capacities through disciplinary education in the arts, painting, drawing, sculpting, and dancing, as well as through exploring the use of plants as medicine. Prophetic dreams, angel visitations, spirit communication, and extraordinary phenomena were themes that carried on through her childhood and into adulthood. Finding spiritual practice of yoga in early adolescence put her on the path of exploration into the subtle energetic body and connection of multi dimensional self. As life experiences brought both blessings and challenges, the tools to gather for energetic healing strengthened as well as her trusting connection with her spirit team. After overcoming a health crisis in 2022, Shelley decided to solidify her practice in healing by attending Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. An incredible institution founded by KC Miller.
She has found her purpose in meeting others exactly where they are, to attain goals of healing and wellness for
both the individual and collective in this world.
House of the Mystical Maven is a practice in Integrative Healing Arts that supports healing in the world. As a sacred space for spiritual enrichment seekers, HMM bridges spiritual ritual and ceremony into the lives of their spirit team (you!) via mindfulness meditation, holistic coaching, earth ceremony, and healing botanicals. Sessions explore a range of energetic healing modalities based on the unique experiences that are presented at the time of our meeting. By utilizing a wide capacity of ancient and modern spiritually enriching tools, experiencers can find stress reduction, calm, inner peace, self awareness, mental empowerment, emotional balance, and overall a sense of authentic true self. Tools we may use in a healing session include and are not limited to meditation, somatic movement, EFT, reiki, divination, dream incubation, coaching worksheets, spiritual aroma, flower essence, communication with spirit guides, animals, crystals, goddesses, deities, saints.
